High Performance Marketing
(Further Education and Training Certificate: Marketing NQF Level 4 Saqa ID 67464)
This Further Education and Training Certificate qualification is presented in line with SAQA qualification 67464, and will be beneficial to any employee who is currently involved in marketing or aspires to be involved in marketing. Learners will be equipped with skills to analyse their product, develop a product specific marketing strategy, effectively communicating this to the right customer at the right time; this will be achieved through the following modules;

Marketing Excellence:
  • Apply marketing team work strategies
  • Deal with brand, product and service promotions
  • Demonstrate an understanding of product positioning
  • Demonstrate an understanding of the competitive environment and product positioning
  • Identify and use marketing resources to meet objectives

Effective Marketing Communication:
  • Accommodate audience and context needs in oral/signed communication
  • Interpret and use information from texts
  • Use language and communication in occupational learning programmes
  • Write/present/sign texts for a range of communicative contexts
  • Apply knowledge of statistics and probability to critically interrogate and effectively communicate findings on life related problems
  • Engage in sustained oral/signed communication and evaluate spoken/signed texts
  • Read/view, analyse and respond to a variety of texts
  • Use language and communication in occupational learning programmes
  • Write/present/sign for a wide range of contexts
  • Liaise and interact with direct marketing role players Operate a personal computer system

Customer Service:
  • Handle a range of customer complaints
  • Liaise with a range of customers of a business
  • Set up mechanisms for response handling Attend to customer enquiries

  • Comply with legal requirements and organisational and professional codes of conduct

Research skills
  • Monitor marketing information flow and collect and process marketing data
  • Represent analyse and calculate shape and motion in 2-and 3-dimensional space in different contexts
  • Use mathematics to investigate and monitor the financial aspects of personal, business, national and international issues
  • Edit, code and capture data

Personal Development
  • Instil in oneself a personal marketing culture
  • Meet marketing performance standards

The learnership consists of 24 - 30 contact sessions, of 8 hours each, and can run over a period of 12 to18 months. The distribution of these contact sessions can be scheduled to suit the needs of the client.

Training will take place at the client’s place of business; an alternative venue can be arranged at the client’s expense.
